When the weight of our sin/mistakes, obstacles we face fill us with that "gut punch" feeling? Is there a way to ease that pain? ..

Yes, even then God hears you & still wants to help you change & will set you free from the chains. All it takes is softening your heart just enough to let him truly in. He's always known you, even if you didn't know him. Because He loves you; more than you could ever comprehend, He's always been faithful & forever will be, that's just the nature of his character, He is full of Grace & Mercy. 

Truly He can give you a knew identity and you can be set free, from anything "small to big"

You can be delivered from anxiety, shame, guilt, depression, envy, anger, lust, resentment.

 

  Whatever it is you may be struggling with He will heal the root of it. He changes the way you think, in the best way possible, He truly makes you just want to get to know him more, You genuinely start to fall in love with Him. HE is the definition of LOVE, seriously like without him it wouldn't exist, no matter what phase we're at in our journey He remains the same; . - ( I want to include scripture verses in this but tis like super late so if there's a way to edit this later? Then I'll add those haha) -  As i was saying,

When you go to Jesus, it's actually one of the most humbling things you can do, you don't have to have it all together or even really understand, ( kinda like you don't go shower already clean) He will wash you and all you have to do is say something along the lines of  "Jesus I want to know you" if you have a bible in your house you could start reading that too I recommend NIV, ESV, or NLT! (modern literature)..

Again just going to him is EVERYTHING "Seek first the kingdom & it's righteousness;".. 

Even in your doubt, questioning, confusion, pain, whatever your situation may be, He knows you and wants to take the burden off your shoulders and give you REST. ( trust how fast I lived my life i'm still learning to be still haha)

  .. There is a sense of stillness and peace that just comes naturally. He says come as you are but He won't leave you that way, He will do the healing, cleansing, purifying, mending. Truly once you receive Him, truly seek him first, don't just make Him a part of your routine but build your entire life on him. He will continue to work through your heart and instill his Spirit and have his character be your desire, He will change the way you think, talk, act, live. He changes your heart and cleans it out, even if you are sitting here thinking "what's the point? I don't need saving, i'm good with where i'm at." I'd say this:

Do you want lasting Peace?

Do you want lasting forever faithful loyal Love?

Do you want to experience Joy even in sorrow? 

Do you want to let go of any weight you may be carrying?

Do you want to see a radical transformation in your life?

Do you need Hope,Fulfillment,Contentment, Healing. <3

No matter how "little you think you need" to how dark your path was, He will not see you as that but as the person you are. That's all He wants is the real, genuine, authentic you. He wants your Heart, and He will Heal your Mind, Body and Soul.
